Hudson-Heck Collects Weekly Honor From IWLCA

Wooster senior midfielder Ellie Hudson-Heck (Medina, OH/Medina) was selected as an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association National Player-of-the-Week, the organization announced on March 23rd.

Hudson-Heck, who was also named the NCAC Player of the Week on Monday, capped a three-game outing by matching the single-game program record with an eight-goal day against Whitman College on Sunday. She became the first Fighting Scot to score eight goals in a game in over 20 years, and just the fourth student-athlete to do so in program history.

The IWLCA selects two national players-of-the-week in each of the three NCAA divisions. The selections are announced on the "Fast Break: IWLCA College Lacrosse Weekly" show on the Lacrosse Sports Network.
