GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Tucker Glass, DePauw head women's lacrosse coach since August 2016, has announced his resignation to become head women's lacrosse coach and assistant athletic director at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. Jillian Howley, assistant women's lacrosse coach for the Tigers during the 2018 season, has been named the interim head coach.

In two seasons as DePauw's head coach, Glass has led the Tigers to a 9-20 record including the program's first winning season at 7-6 in 2017. The seven wins also equaled the program record. Glass also served in an NCAA compliance role for the DePauw Athletics Department.

"We're going to miss Tucker and all he did for TeamDePauw," Stevie Baker-Watson, DePauw's Associate Vice President for Campus Wellness & Theodore Katula Director of Athletics and Recreational Sports said.

"Tucker's contributions extended beyond lacrosse with his efforts in NCAA compliance and willingness to engage our student-athletes in topics related to health and wellness."

"We also are fortunate to have someone on staff with Jillian's head coaching experience to direct the team through the transition and into the 2019 season."

Prior to DePauw, Howley served as the first women's head coach at Division II University of Indianapolis and directed the Greyhounds to a 19-17 record in her two seasons including 13-5 in her second year. The .389 winning percentage improvement earned them the Most Improved DII team from LaxPower. Prior to that she was the head coach at Lake Erie College for three seasons, compiling a 30-23 mark.

At the conclusion of the season, DePauw will begin a national search for the position.

DePauw opens the season on Saturday, February 23, at University of Chicago.
