    Denison (10-5-4) junior midfielder Meg Wozniak (Kenilworth, IL/New Trier) scored the lone goal of the match in the 89th minute to lift the second-seeded Big Red to a 1-0 victory over top-seeded Wittenberg (13-4-2) on Saturday night in the championship match of the 2016 NCAC Women's Soccer Tournament in Springfield.

DU head coach Gail Murphy secured her 300th-career victory in the shutout. Murphy, who ranked 19th in wins among active Division III coaches at the start of the season, became the 25th coach in Division III history to reach the 300-career win milestone.
