The United Soccer Coaches released the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer All-Region teams on November 29th and eight NCAC student-athletes were named to one of the three Great Lakes Region teams.
Oberlin senior forward Gwennie Gardiner (San Diego, CA/Francis Parker) highlighted the list of all-region selections as the league's lone representative on the first team, while Ohio Wesleyan junior goalie Mackenzie Brunke (Lewis Center, OH/Olentangy Orange) and Kenyon senior midfielder Campbell Fee (Pelham, NY/Pelham Memorial) both earned second-team laurels.
Finally, five players from the NCAC landed on the third team, including Denison freshamn defender Kelly O'Neill (Torrance, CA/Rolling Hills Prep), Wittenberg sophomore defender Emma Thacker (Mason, OH/William Mason), Denison senior midfielder Meg Wozniak (Kenilworth, IL/New Trier), Denison junior forward Maggie Armstrong (Wilmette, IL/New Trier) and Wittenberg senior forward Jordyn Wright (Forest, OH/Riverdale).
