DePauw senior Morgan Stearley (Center Point, IN/Northview) along with Wittenberg seniors Taylor Yontz (Springfield, OH/Shawnee) and Aubrey Cox (Tipp City, OH/Tippecanoe) were named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
Stearley was named to the All-America third-team for the first time in her career. This season, she compiled 410 kills, 361 digs and a .256 hitting percentage, finishing her career with 1,330 kills, seventh-most in DePauw history. She was also named NCAC Player of the Year, All-NCAC first-team, AVCA All-Great Lakes Region and CoSIDA Academic All-District this season.
Yontz was named All-America honorable mention after a standout season for Wittenberg. She compiled her third 500+ dig season for the Tigers, finishing her career with 1,818 digs, ninth-most on the school's all-time dig list. She was named the NCAC Libero of the Year for the second time in her career as well as being a first-team all-conference member. Yontz was also named an All-Great Lakes region player for the second time in her career.
Cox garnered the second All-America nod of her career, achieving honorable mention status this season. She was also an All-Great Lakes Region selection for the third time in her career and earned her fourth All-NCAC first-team selection after compiling 176 kills, 61 blocks and a .300 hitting percentage as a senior. She finished her career with 339 blocks, sixth-most in Wittenberg history.
