Denison junior Brian Gilson (Cortland, OH/JFK) covered Gettysburg's 8000-
meter course in 26:54 to place eight of 232 runners and lead Denison to a 
fifth-place finish amont the 25-team field.

Allegheny junior Ben Mourer (Chicora, PA/Karns City) finished third at 
the NCAA Pre-National meet at Ohio Wesleyan. He finished the eight-
kilometer course in 26:37 to held the Gators to a third-place team finish.

Earlham sophomore Dan Mahle (Boulder, CO/Shining Mountain Waldorf) was 
the individual champion among 121 finishers at the Earlham Invitational.  
He covered the 8000-meter course in 27:08.

Ohio Wesleyan junior Matt Kempton (Fredericktown, OH/Fredericktown) 
placed 93rd of 304 runners at the Greater Louisville Classic. He finished 
the 8K course in 26:30.

Denison junior Christine Collins (Chagrin Falls, OH/Chagrin Falls) placed 
seventh of 120 runners at the Cedarville Friendship Invitational.  She 
finished the 5K course in 18:41 to lead Denison to fourth place.

Oberlin junior Travis Grout (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson Area) placed second 
of 108 runners in the GLCA Championships.  He finished the eight-kilometer 
race in 26:56, and led his team to a second-place finish in the eight-
team event.

Allegheny senior Chris Carrier (Lyndhurst, OH/Brush) was first of 118 
runners at Case's Bill Sudeck Invitational.  He covered the 8,000-
kilometer course in 26:01 to lead Allegheny to the team championship.
