Denison senior Kim Murley (Dalton, PA/Tunkhannock) placed third of 257 
runners in leading Denison to the team title in the 23-team Gettysburg 
Invittaional on Saturday, Oct. 15.  Murley covered the 6000-meter course 
in 23:07.

Wooster junior Katie Wieferich (Marietta, OH/Marietta) won the Division 
III race and was ninth overall at the All-Ohio Intercollegiates. She 
finished the five-kilometer race in 18:38.

Allegheny junior Scarlett Graham (Farmington, PA/Uniontown) placed third 
of 210 runners in the 4K dvision of the Dickinson Long Course/Short 
Course Invitational.  Graham ran the 4000-meter route in 15:07 and led 
the Gators to a third of 40 team finish in the combined standings.

Oberlin junior Ariane Burwell (San Francisco, CA/Urban School) placed 
fourth of 112 runners at the Otterbein Classic, leading the Yeowomen to 
the team title in 11-team field.  She finished the 6K course in 23:01.

Allegheny sophomore Ryan Place (Meshoppen, PA/Elk Lake) finished third 
at the Allegheny Invitational, leading the Gators to the team title.  He 
covered the 8K course in 26:21.

Oberlin sophomore Alison Doniger (Menlo Park, CA/Menlo-Atherton) finished 
first of 121 runners at the GLCA Championships.  She finished the five-
kilometer race in 19:19, pacing the Yeowomen to a second-place team finish 
in the seven-squad meet.

Wooster junior Katie Wieferich (Marietta, OH/Marietta) placed first of 42 
runners to win the Denison Fall Classic 5000-meter race with a time of 
19:28.
