Hiram senior Joe Hengoed led the Terriers to a second place finish at the Walsh/Malone Invitational after he placed fourth individually with a time of 17:13.87.

 

Laila Almassri, Hiram
(Parma, OH/Normandy) 



Hiram sophomore Laila Almassri led the Terriers at the Walsh/Malone Invitational with a 12th place individual finish in a time of 23:03.46.

October 16th

Bobby Over, Allegheny
(Wadsworth, OH/Wadsworth) 


Race: Inter-Regional Rumble            Distance: 8K (25:27)
Individual Finish: 2nd of 315             Team Finish: 2nd of 34

Junior Bobby Over finished second overall, to lead Allegheny to a second-place team finish. His time for eight kilometers was 25:27.

 

Jenna Willett, Kenyon
(Kensington, MD/Walter Johnson) 


Race: Inter-Regional Rumble            Distance: 6K (22:25)
Individual Finish: 3rd of 282            Team Finish: 1st of 33

Sophomore Jenna Willett led Kenyon a 13th place finish at the Inter-Regional Rumble with a third-place individual finish. Her time for six kilomters was 22:25.

October 9th

Pete Richard, DePauw
(Hinsdale, IL/Hinsdale Central) 


Race:Gibson Family Invitational       Distance: 8K (27:03)
Individual Finish: 11th             
Team Finish: 8th

Senior Pete Richard led DePauw to an eighth-place team finish at the Gibson Family Invitational. He completed the eight-kilometer course in 27:03.

 

Megan Everhart, DePauw
(Greensburg, IN/Waldron)


Race: Gibson Family Invitational       Distance: 6K (24:37)
Individual Finish: 14th            
Team Finish: 2nd

Freshman Megan Everhart led DePauw to a second-place team finish at the Gibson Family Invitational. She completed the six-kilometer course in 24:37.

October 4th

Dee Salukombo, Denison
(Lakewood, OH/Lakewood) 


Race: All-Ohio Intercollegiate            Distance: 8K (25:18)
Individual Finish: 6th overall/2nd in DIII        Team Finish: 24th overall

Senior Dee Salukombo placed second among NCAA Division III runners and sixth overall at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships. He finished the eight-kilometer race in 25:18 to lead Denison to a 24th place team finish.

 

Jenna Willett, Kenyon
(Kensington, MD/Walter Johnson) 


Race: All-Ohio Intercollegiate            Distance: 5K (18:47)
Individual Finish: 33rd overall            Team Finish: 27th overall

Sophomore Jenna Willett posted her personal best time of 18:47 for five kilometers to lead Kenyon at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships. She placed 33rd overall and led the Ladies to a 27th place team finish. 

September 25th

Noah Droddy, DePauw
(Indianapolis, IN/International) 


Race: Otterbein Invitational           Distance: 8K
Individual Finish: 1st of 136            
Team Finish: 2nd of 13

Junior Noah Droddy won the Otterbein Invitational with a time of 25:56 over eight kilometers. Droddy led the Tigers to a second-place team finish.

 

Carey Lyons, Oberlin
(Tacoma, WA/Stadium) 


Race: Willialms Invitational            
Distance: 6K
Individual Finish: 28th of 202            
Team Finish: 6th of 16

Freshman Carey Lyons placed 28th overall (23:39) at the Williams Invitational, leading the Yeowomen to a sixth-place team finish, ahead of nationally ranked Colby in seventh.

September 18th

Bobby Over, Allegheny
(Wadsworth, OH/Wadsworth) 


Race: Knight Invitational (at Calvin)
Distance: 8K
Individual Finish: 1st of 200            
Team Finish: 2nd of 18

Junior Bobby Over won the men’s portion of the Knight Invitational with a time of 24:35 over eight kilometers. It was the fastest 8K time by a Gator runner in program history. 

 

Kristina Martin, Allegheny
(Holley, NY/Holley)


Race: Knight Invitational (at Calvin)     Distance: 5K
Individual Finish: 4th of 201            
Team Finish: 9th of 16

Sophomore Kristina Martin led Allegheny at the Calvin College Knight Invitational. She placed fourth in a field of 201 runners with a time of 17:54 over five kilometers. 

September 11th

Stephen Williams, Oberlin
(Cordova, TN/St. George’s Independent)


Race: GLCA Championships           Distance: 8K
Individual Finish: 17th            
Team Finish: 2nd

Oberlin senior Stephen Williams led the Yeomen to a second-place team finish at the GLCA Championships. He finished 17th with a time of 27:03.1.


 

  Colleen O’Neil, Wooster
(Chalk Hill, PA/Uniontown Area)

Race: GLCA Championships            
Distance: 5K
Individual Finish: 4th            
Team Finish: 3rd

Wooster junior Colleen O’Neil led the Fighting Scots to a third-place team finish at the GLCA Championships. She finished fourth with a time of 19:20.0.
September 5th

Pat McLaughlin, Allegheny
(Maple Glen, PA/Upper Darby) 

Race: Bill Sudeck Invitational (at Case)
Distance: 6 kilometers
Individual Finish: 2nd of 50            
Team Finish: 1st of 3

Allegheny senior Pat McLaughlin placed second individually at Case’s Bill Sudeck Classic, to lead the Gators to a first-place team finish. He completed the six-kilometer course in 20:20.

 

Molly Martorella, Oberlin
(Winchandon, MA/Murdock)


Race: Wooster Invitational            
Distance: 4 kilometers
Individual Finish: 1st of 45 runners        
Team Finish: non-scoring

Oberlin sophomore Molly Martorella topped the field in the women’s four kilometer race at the Wooster Invitational. She completed the course in 15:05, which was more than a minute faster than the second-place finisher.
