Top-seeded Wittenberg claimed its 14th North Coast Tournament title and earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championship with a 25-15, 25-14, 25-14 decision over Hiram in the championship match. The two teams have squared off in seven straight championship games and the Tigers hold a 6-1 advantage in those contests. Wittenberg advanced to the final after sweeping fourth-seeded Allegheny, in straight sets in their semifinal matchup. Third-seeded Hiram defeated the second seed, Wooster, 3-0, in their semifinal matchup.
