She knocked down 11 three-pointers, including five in a 69-57 loss to Wittenberg. Bell totalled 17 points versus the Tigers and added 13 in a 68-53 win over Hiram and 15 in a 71-46 win over Earlham.

Boardman now owns two of the school’s top five individual game totals. The Tigers, who have won four straight, moved to two games over the .500 mark overall for the first time this season and claimed first place as their own.

Wooster senior guard Kim Wenz established career highs in scoring (37) and steals (7) to lead the Fighting Scots past Ursuline. The 37 points was one short of the school record. Wenz accounted for the last seven points of the game, with a three-pointer, a layup off a steal, and a pair of three throws in the final 2:30 of the game. Her effort lifted Wooster from a 66-65 deficit to a 72-66 victory.

Freshman Allison Anderson recorded the first triple-double by a freshman in Oberlin history when she collected 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 68-52 conference-opening win over Earlham. She played the entire 40 minutes in the game, as well as in the Yeowomen’s non-conference loss to Carnegie Mellon earlier in the week. She leads the North Coast with 3.17 steals per game and ranks second in the league with 5.0 assists per game.

Denison junior Shaina Kaiser tied her career-best effort with 32 points in a 70-57 win over Carnegie Mellon. It was the fourth-highest single-game output in program history. She averaged 28.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games, as Denison won both of its contests in the Chatham Thanksgiving Classic. The Big Red also defeated Chatham, 71-69.

Ohio Wesleyan junior guard Tyler Cordell led the Battling Bishops to a 91-87 overtime win over Centenary at the Hunter Tip-Off Tournament with 24 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. She then chipped in 14 points, including three free throws in the final 30 seconds to preserve a 77-71 victory over Hunter in the championship. She posted 14 boards and eight assists over the two games on her way to Most Valuable Player honors.
