Kenyon freshman Leah Sack led her team to the No. 1 seed in the NCAC tournament with a pair of conference victories last week. She had an 11-point game in a 20-14 decision over Wooster that included nine assists. The nine assists tied a school and conference record for a single game. She also recorded a pair of assists in a 13-8 decision over Denison.

Abby Silvester, Allegheny

Allegheny junior Abby Silvester led the Gators to a pair of victories last week. She scored twice in an 18-2 decision over Waynesburg. She followed that performance by posting a season-high five goals in an 11-10 victory over Denison, including the game-winner in the second overtime session.

April 12

Phoebe Myhrum, Denison
(Pittsburgh, PA/Shady Side Academy)

Junior Phoebe Myhrum scored eight goals and had four assists as Denison went 2-1 last week, 1-1 in NCAC play. She scored three goals and had one assist in the Big Red’s 14-10 victory over Wittenberg, then added a hat trick and two assists in a 17-5 decision over Whittier.

April 5

Becca Worthington, Wooster
(St. Lous Park, MN/St. Louis Park)

Senior Becca Worthington led Wooster to a 2-0 start in conference play. She scored seven goals in the Fighting Scots’ thrilling comeback win at Allegheny, including the tying goal with 35 seconds left in regulation. Worthington then accounted for all three overtime scores by Wooster. That gave her a career-best seven for the game. In a 10-9 victory over Denison, she scored once, tying the game at six. Worthington’s eight goals came on 10 shots, including 3-for-3 on free positions.

March 29

Emily Nichols, Kenyon
(Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell)

Freshman Emily Nichols notched 12 goals, including a five-goal performance against Tiffin. Kenyon remained undefeated on the season as it posted three victories last week, over Tiffin, 16-4, Sewanee, 18-16, and Trine, 13-8.

March 22

Molly Bloom, Oberlin
(Sharon, MA/Sharon)

Oberlin freshman Molly Bloom helped the Yeowomen to their first win of the season. She scored four goals and dished out two assists in a 17-2 victory over Waynesburg. One of her goals came off an eight-meter attempt. She added two groundballs and caused one turnover in the contest.

March 15

Jessica Copeland, Ohio Wesleyan
(Ligonier, PA/Foxcroft, VA)

Ohio Wesleyan senior midfielder Jessica Copeland notched 12 goals and one assist in the Battling Bishop’s 2-1 week. She posted a team-best four goals in a win over Pomona-Pitzer, led the team again with three in a loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, and finished the week with a team-high five scores in a victory over Occidental.
