She scored seven in a 17-10 defeat of Kenyon and knocked in six in a 12-6 win over Allegheny. She also had seven scores in a non-conference victory over Medaille. __________________________________________________________________________ April 21, 2003 KENNEDY NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wooster senior Megan Kennedy (Annapolis, MD/Broadneck Senior) totaled 11 points on nine goals and two assists in the Scots’ 2-1 week, highlighted by a seven-point performance in a win over Kenyon. She also notched two goals in a victory over Denison and a goal and an assist in a loss to Wittenberg. __________________________________________________________________________ April 14, 2003 MASTERPAUL NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Denison senior attack Leslie Masterpaul (Cleveland Hts., OH/Cleveland Hts.) led the Big Red with nine goals and two assists in the two conference victories. She is the team’s leader with 26 goals and 34 points through 10 games this season, which ranks ninth in the conference scoring race. __________________________________________________________________________ April 7, 2003 BELL NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Kenyon freshman Kaley Bell (Pennington, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central) scored six times in an NCAC victory over Ohio Wesleyan, then followed with another six goals and an assist in a Kenyon win over Notre Dame (Md.). Bell entered the week with eight goals in three games, and now leads the NCAC with 20 goals in five games (4.0 per game). __________________________________________________________________________ March 31, 2003 DEERING NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Allegheny freshman Emily Deering (Hollis, ME/Hollis) scored 12 goals and one assist for 13 points as the Gators went 1-2 last week. She had four goals in a 9-8 win over Buffalo State, four more in an 8-6 loss to Fredonia State and four goals and an assist in a 12-6 loss to Kenyon. She has a least one goal in all five of Allegheny’s games this season. __________________________________________________________________________ March 24, 2003 SACHS NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Earlham sophomore Brooke Sachs (Houston, TX/Bellaire) recorded a hat trick, scoring three goals and also recording three assists as the Quakers won their first game of the season, a 10-7 win over Medaille. The win was Earlham's first home victory in lacrosse since 1996. Sachs was instrumental in the Quaker win as Earlham outscored Medaille 7-3 in the second-half after trailing 4-3 at halftime. __________________________________________________________________________
