She enters the week with 95 career goals, four more than the previous record-holders Jill Michalski (1994-95) and Eleni Kacoyianni (1996-99). For the week, Deering scored five times and added two assists as Allegheny went 1-1 in NCAC play, and secured a spot in the NCAC tournament. __________________________________________________________________________ April 25, 2005 Wooster junior attacker Megan Sward (Sewickley, PA/Academy), who leads the North Coast with 1.56 assists per game and ranks second with 3.89 points per game, tallied a team-high 13 points on eight goals and five assists in two Scot wins. She scored four goals in a 19-4 win over Kenyon, then added four goals and four assists in a 17-5 decision over St. Vincent, all in the first half. Sward also totaled four ground balls, eight draw controls and four caused turnovers. __________________________________________________________________________ April 18, 2005 Ohio Wesleyan senior attacker Carrie Williams (Hingham, MA/Hingham) scored five goals and three assists to lead the Bishops over Notre Dame of Ohio, 18-6. In that contest, Williams raised her career goal total to 138, which moved her into first place in OWU?s all-time scoring list, breaking the mark set by Jenny Feldman from 1996-99. Williams also led the Bishops in a, 18-13 defeat of Wittenberg. She contributed four goals and two assists to give her a total for the two games of 10 goals and five assists. Williams moved up to third in the NCAC in scoring with that effort; She now has 37 points in nine games played. __________________________________________________________________________ April 11, 2005 Wooster senior midfielder Ashley Arnold (Columbus, OH/Worthington) tied a career-high with five goals in a 16-3 defeat of Wittenberg, including three in the first 10:03 of the game. She then accounted for three of the Scots? four goals in a 9-4 loss to Denison. __________________________________________________________________________ April 4, 2005 Wittenberg senior Jenny Burns (Dublin, OH/Coffman) scored eight goals and added three assists as the Tigers split a pair of non conference games last week. She notched six points on two goals and four assists in a defeat of Notre Dame (OH), then added four goals and an assist in a loss to St. Vincent. __________________________________________________________________________ March 28, 2005 Kenyon freshman Amanda Drummond (Mayfield Hts., OH/Hawken) racked up seven goals and two assists in the two games, added three ground balls and caused three turnovers as the Ladies went 1-1. __________________________________________________________________________ March 21, 2005 Denison junior midfielder Courtney Abrams (Washington, DC/Bullis) shares the team lead with five points on the five goals she scored in the Big Red's first two games.
