She then added 10 points in a two-game swing in Western Pennsylvania over the weekend. Iaquinta scored two goals and added an assist in a 15-8 defeat of St. Vincent, then had four goals and three assists in a 19-4 win over Seton Hill. __________________________________________________________________________ April 24, 2006 Wooster senior attacker Megan Sward (Sewickley, PA/Sewickley Academy) totalled 18 points on 10 goals and eight assists as the Scots won three times, all in conference play. She scored four times on four shots in a 13-9 decision over Wittenberg, added two goals and four assists in a 17-8 win over Oberlin, and then finished with a four-goal, four-assist outing in an 18-9 victory over Kenyon. The three wins lifted the Scots to a tie for first place in the standings and a showdown for the top seed with co- leader Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday. __________________________________________________________________________ April 17, 2006 Allegheny sophomore attacker Ashley Hughes (Wexford, PA/North Allegheny) scored six goals and dished out four assists to lead the Gators to a 2-0 week. She also picked up four draw controls and a ground ball. __________________________________________________________________________ April 10, 2006 Oberlin freshman attacker Lela Hull (Cumberland, ME/Greely) racked up three goals and three assists in a 19-7 decision over Cazenovia, then added five goals in a 19-14 loss to Fredonia St. She leads the team and the conference with 4.33 points per game. __________________________________________________________________________ April 3, 2006 Ohio Wesleyan sophomore midfielder Alexa Deaton (Eden, MD/Mercersburg Academy) totalled 10 goals and seven assists, to lead the Bishops to a 3-1 week, with two wins in conference play: a 9-4 win over Denison and a 15-9 victory over Allegheny. She even notched a high of five goals and three assists in the team’s first loss of the season, 15-14 to Brockport St. __________________________________________________________________________ March 27, 2006 Wittenberg junior Melissa Jackson (Worthington, OH/Thomas Worthington), who has led the Tigers in scoring in six of her team’s seven games to date, helped the Tigers to their first two wins of the season, after an 0-5 start. She contributed three goals in an 11-4 decision over St. Vincent. The next day, she poured in another seven goals with four assists in a 19-10 victory over Seton Hill. For the week, Jackson totaled 10 goals and four assists. __________________________________________________________________________ March 20, 2006 Kenyon senior Kaley Bell (Pennington, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central) led the Ladies to a 1-2 record during their west coast trip.
