The 15 points and nine assists were both single-game school and NCAC records. De Lavis has shattered the Ladies’ record for points in a season with 84 and assists in a season with 32. __________________________________________________________________________ April 23, 2007 Junior attacker Emily Baab (Chagrin Falls, OH/Walsh Jesuit) totaled eight points on five goals and three assists in Wooster’s 2-0 week. Baab scored the game-tying goal with 15 seconds remaining in regulation against Kenyon, then scored in the overtime period to lift the Scots to a 12-11 lead early in the extra session. She finished with three goals in the game. In addition, Baab’s two goals and three assists led all scorers in the win over the Oberlin. __________________________________________________________________________ April 16, 2007 Krissy Frost (Wilton, CT/Wilton) scored five goals and added three assists as Denison defeated Oberlin, 18-12. In the Big Red's 14-6 defeat of Allegheny, she added another three goals. Frost leads Denison with 37 points and 32 goals this season. __________________________________________________________________________ April 9, 2007 Ohio Wesleyan junior midfielder Julia Fouts (Cleveland Hts., OH/Hathaway Brown) scored three goals and assisted on another to lead the Battling Bishops over Kenyon, 10-7. Fouts also shared the team lead with three goals in an 11-9 win over Denison. She finished the week with six goals and one assist, and scored the go-ahead goal in both contests. __________________________________________________________________________ April 2, 2007 Wittenberg junior Amber Cupples (Wooster, OH/Wooster) scored three goals in each game of the Tigers’ 1-1 week. She added two assists in her team’s 19-2 defeat of Fontbonne to give her eight points for the week. Cupples leads Wittenberg with 14 points and nine goals through five games. She ranks seventh in the NCAC in scoring and leads the conference with 4.8 draw controls per game. __________________________________________________________________________ March 26, 2007 Oberlin sophomore attacker Lela Hull (Cumberland, ME/Greely) scored six goals and added four assists as the Yeowomen opened the regular season with a 1-1 record last week. She had five scores and nine points in a 19-2 defeat of Fontbonne. __________________________________________________________________________ March 19, 2007 Kenyon freshman Caely Melford (Mystic, CT/Stonington) tied two school records in her team’s 23-12 defeat of Sweet Briar. Her nine goals and 10 points tied Kenyon’s single-game records that had stood alone since 1994. The next day, Melford scored another 10 points with eight goals and two assists in an 18-5 win over New England. She leads the NCAC with 7.67 points per game and 6.67 goals per game this season. __________________________________________________________________________
