The title was OWU's fourth in the past five years. __________________________________________________________________________ October 31, 2004 Wooster sophomore midfielder/forward Erin Lustic (Cleveland Hts., OH/ Cleveland Heights) produced a seven-point week, nearly doubling her season total (16). She assisted on two scores during a 4-0 win over Hiram, and then scored two of the first three goals in a 4-0 win at Kenyon while assisting on the other. __________________________________________________________________________ October 24, 2004 Allegheny junior Ashley Rogerson (Fairport, NY/Fairport) scored both of the Gators’ goals, including the gamewinner, in a 2-1 overtime win at Wooster. The Fighting Scots had opened the scoring in the second half and had held the lead till 3:59 remained Rogerson tied the score. She then found the back of the net three minutes into overtime. The OT goal was her fifth of the season. __________________________________________________________________________ October 17, 2004 Earlham senior forward Angelique Owanga (Riverdale, GA/Northfield Mt. Herman) led the Quakers to a shutout victory over Oberlin with two goals and an assist. She leads Earlham with five goals this season. __________________________________________________________________________ October 10, 2004 Ohio Wesleyan junior forward Sarah Wall (Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington) recorded a goal and an assist in a 4-0 victory over a solid Defiance team (7-2-2 going in), and assisted on the game-winner in overtime versus previously undefeated Wittenberg., a 1-0 decision over the Bishops. __________________________________________________________________________ October 3, 2004 Wittenberg sophomore forward Liz Volz (Cincinnati, OH/Seton) scored an unassisted goal to lift the Tigers over Allegheny in overtime. Wittenberg needs just one more victory to assure itself of its second winning season since 1995. The team is riding an 11-game unbeaten string, dating to the start of the season. __________________________________________________________________________ September 26, 2004 Wittenberg freshman Lisa Rusch (Columbus, OH/Worthington Kilbourne scored a goal in the Tigers’ 2-0 win over Mount St. Joseph then scored the game’s lone goal in a conference-opening 1-0 win over Wooster - the Tigers biggest win of head coach Norm Riker’s three seasons at the helm. She leads the team in scoring this season with 12 points over nine games. __________________________________________________________________________ September 19, 2004 Kenyon junior Blair Heiser (Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington) notched three points on a goal and an assist. Her score with 3:36 left proved to be the game-winner in a 2-1 decision over Baldwin-Wallace. The Ladies also posted a 2-0 victory over Capital. Heiser assisted on the insurance goal in that contest. __________________________________________________________________________ September 12, 2004 Hiram junior Megan Crum (Uniontown, OH/Lake) totalled five goals, four assists and 13 points to lead the Terriers to a 2-0 week. She opened the week with three goals and three assists in a 12-0 win over Chatham. Her seven points, and three assists, were Hiram single-game records. She shared the assist record with junior Jessica Knight (Chagrin Falls, OH/Cortland Lakeview) who also tallied three assists. Crum followed with a goal and two assists in a 5-1 win over Hilbert. __________________________________________________________________________ September 7, 2004 Ohio Wesleyan junior forward Sarah Wall (Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington) scored three goals and added an assist in a 6-1 victory over Capital scored what proved to be the game winner in a 2-1 decision over defending national champion Oneonta State, and was named the Offensive MVP of Oneonta State’s Red Dragon Cup. __________________________________________________________________________
