She scored two goals, including what proved to be the game-winner, in OWU's 3-2 semifinal win over Kenyon and then followed with the game-winner in the championship game against Denison. She assisted on the game-tying goal that sent the game with Wittenberg to overtime, then scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 decision over Wooster. __________________________________________________________________________ October 9, 2005 Wooster junior Erin Lustic (Cleveland Hts., OH/Cleveland Hts.) scored twice and assisted on another as the Scots went 2-0 last week. The team leader in goals (8), assists (4) and points (20), she had notched what proved to be the game winners in both of her team's victories last week. __________________________________________________________________________ October 4, 2005 Kenyon sophomore Amanda Drummond (Mayfield Hts., OH/Hawken) scored the game-winning goal with just over two minutes left to give the Ladies a 2-1 decision over Ohio Wesleyan. It was Kenyon's first victory over the Bishops since the 1994 season. __________________________________________________________________________ September 25, 2005 Kenyon freshman Amy Kessler (Bowling Green, OH/St. Ursula) played a role in both goals as the Ladies won twice by identical 1-0 scores. In a victory over Capital, Kessler assisted on the game-winner, then in a win over Wilmington, she scored the lone goal herself. It was Kenyon's first-ever victory over Wilmington. __________________________________________________________________________ September 18, 2005 Earlham freshman Hillary Carter (Middletown, OH/Lakota East) totaled two goals and two assists in the Quakers' 2-0-1 week. She assisted on the only goal of the game against Rose-Hulman, scored once and assisted on the game winner against Franklin, then scored the game-tying goal against Manchester. __________________________________________________________________________ September 11, 2005 Denison senior All-America Colleen Wirtz (Columbus, OH/DeSales) scored three goals, including the gamewinner in a 2-1 win over Otterbein, to help the Big Red outscore their opponents 11-1 last week. She also added an assist as Denison went 3-0 with wins over Wilmington and Capital, in addition to Otterbein. She now leads the Big Red with seven points. __________________________________________________________________________ September 6, 2005 Freshman midfielder Katie Murphy (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) of Allegheny scored two goals and added three assists to average 3.5 points in the Gators' first two games of the year, both victories.
