__________________________________________________________________________ November 4, 2007 Wittenberg junior Suzanne Medwid (Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington) scored the game-winner 1:29 into the overtime seesion to break a 1-1 tie and hand the Tigers a 2-1 victory, and their second straight NCAC Tournament championship. __________________________________________________________________________ October 28, 2007 Oberlin freshman midfielder Lois Immerman (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) scored the game's lone goal to hand the Yeowomen their first North Coast victory of the season, a 1-0 decision over neighboring Hiram. __________________________________________________________________________ October 21, 2007 Allegheny junior midfielder Katie Murphy (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) scored twice in a 3-1 win over Oberlin, becoming the first Gator to score multiple goals in a single game this season. She leads Allegheny with five goals and is tied for the team lead with 10 points. Allegheny posted a 2-1 week, also defeating Hiram, 1-0, and falling to first-place Wittenberg, 1-0. __________________________________________________________________________ October 14, 2007 Wittenberg goalkeeper Meghan O’Rourke (Columbus, OH/Worthington Kilbourne) tied, and then broke, the NCAC career shutout record with her 41st and 42nd, leading the Tigers to a pair of wins over Denison, 2-0, and Oberlin, 1-0 in overtime. She made four saves in each game, including stopping a Yeowoman breakaway in the extra session, which allowed her team the chance to score the game-winner. __________________________________________________________________________ October 7, 2007 Wooster sophomore Simone DiSlavo (Reynoldsburg, OH/Reynoldsburg) scored the game-winner in overtime versus Hiram, a 4-3 decision, and also had an assist in the contest. The Scots were 1-1 on the week after losing to Kenyon, 1-0, in overtime. __________________________________________________________________________ October 2, 2007 In a 2-0 victory over Otterbein, Ohio Wesleyan junior forward Michelle Corbett (Dublin, OH/Scioto) scored the game-winner in the fifth minute. Corbett then hit the back of the net twice to account for all of the Bishop scoring in a 2-2 tie with Kenyon. __________________________________________________________________________ September 23, 2007 Freshman forward Karman Duchon (Decatur, GA/Decatur) scored twice and added three assists during the week. She led Earlham to two wins to improve to 6-1-1. The Quakers defeated Adrian, 4-0, and St. Mary-of-the- Woods, 5-1. __________________________________________________________________________ September 16, 2007 Ohio Wesleyan senior defender Lindsey Macklin (Columbus, OH/Bexley) scored twice, including the game-winner in the second over time, to lift the Battling Bishops past Mount St. Joseph, 3-2. She converted a Bishop corner kick to tie the game at 1-1 and also converted another corner at the beginning of the second extra session. She then was part of a stifling OWU defense that kept DePauw off the scoreboard for the first 84 minutes of a 3-1 OWU victory. Ohio Wesleyan was 2-0 for the week. __________________________________________________________________________ September 9, 2007 Freshman Claire Conner (Aurora, OH/Aurora) scored twice in a pair of 4-0 Hiram victories over Hilbert and Tri-State last week. Conner has at least one goal four of the Terriers' games this season. __________________________________________________________________________ September 4, 2007 Earlham freshman Karman Duchon (Decatur, GA/Decatur) notched four goals in two games to help the Quakers to an unbeaten start. Duchon scored Earlham’s only goal in a 1-1 double-overtime tie against Capital in the season-opener, then followed with three goals in a 5-0 win over Spalding, including two within 27 seconds midway through the second half. __________________________________________________________________________
